April 4: Green Apple Fair 4:00pm  -6:30pm, SCUSD Serna Center, 5735 47th Ave, Sacramento, CA. Celebrate Earth Day with Family Fun! This early evening event with Breathe California shows EVs to Sacramento City Unified School District staff and the surrounding community. There will be a kids' corner with face painting, EV painting, radio-control car racing, raffle drawing for a free bicycle, and more. SacEV will provide an EV showcase with owners and their EVs, along with Dealers providing EV test drives.

 

April 6: Touch a Truck, Yuba City, 11:00am - 3:00pm

Bring the family: provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types including public service, emergency, utility, construction, transportation, and delivery, in one place! Children will be allowed to touch their favorite vehicles, get behind the wheel, and meet the people who help to build, protect, and serve our communities. Children’s activities, games, and food trucks will also be part of the day’s entertainment.

EV Showcase for students and faculty. Test drives provided by GIG.

 

April 10: With Cool Davis, EV Meetup and EV program 6:00pm, 909 5th Street

 

April 11: Moore Village Mutual Housing ribbon cutting, 5:00pm  -6:30 pm
Moore Village Mutual Housing is hosting a ribbon cutting for their EV charging stations and resource fair, expecting 10-20 residents on site that afternoon. Cool Davis/DEVA was invited to offer EV information. DEVA would love to have a EVs and EV owners available.

April 19: South Sacramento Kaiser, 11:00am - 2:00pm

With SMUD will show EVs to local hospital staff and provide a ride and drive. Help get health providers on the EV wagon. Dealer Ride & Drive with incentives available.

 

April 19: Kaiser Morse Ave, Sacramento, 11:00am - 2:00pm

EV Showcase for Kaiser employees in Folsom.  Another opportunity to help health providers get  on the EV wagon, featuring agencies, vendors, and businesses that wish to share their environmental message with Kaiser Permanente members and staff.

 

April 20: Farmers Market in Davis  - See major section later

SacEV and Davis EV Association display an EV at the Davis Farmers Market. Each display includes an EV, the EV’s owner, and one or two helpers who pass out literature and answer questions from market attendees. We are looking for owners and helpers for these dates: April 20, June 15, July 20, August 17

 

April 22: VSP in Rancho Cordova

The VSP Green Guardians team hopes you will join them this year for food, games, prizes, and music. Over 200 employees attended last year and we hope to meet or exceed that number! We will provide an EV Showcase with a dealer ride & drive.

 

April 24: Earth Day at Sac City College, 9:00am - 4:00pm
A great opportunity to advertise EVs to students and faculty.

 

April 25: CA State Teacher Retirement System, West Sacramento

CalSTRS will be hosting an Alternate transportation event to share options beyond of ICEs. They currently have 49 registered EV users. Showcase only.

 

April 27: Amador Earth Day in Jackson, 11:00am - 4:00pm

Grab the family and get out of town to visit the Gold Country. Food, Music, Children's Activities, and more. Also providing EV 101 Presentation.

 

April 28: ECOS Earth Day at South Side Park, 11:00am - 4:00pm

One of our largest EVents. Music, vendors, exhibitors, stage with events, children activities, & food vendors. California's Clean Vehicle Rebate Center will be working with us to host a dealer ride & drive.

 

April 29: CalSTRS, West Sacramento, 11:00am - 1:30pm
CalStrs is hosting an Alternate transportation event to share all transportation options outside of ICE vehicles. They currently have 49 registered EV users. Showcase only.
