WHAT:   

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) and SacEV will hosted the eighth? annual Drive Electric at the Sacramento International Auto Show. This is an opportunity to see the latest plug-in electric vehicles and discover why they are right for everyone, without compromises.

The wildly successful Ride & Drive of electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles saw over 1,600 drivers and passengers in 2018. Attendees were able to not only "see" these exciting clean vehicles, but drive them as well!

The Ride & Drive at the Sacramento International Auto Show is designed to replace smaller Ride & Drives during Drive Electric Weeks in September.

 

 

WHEN:                 Friday,      Oct. 14 from 10:00am - 9:00pm

                                Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10:00am - 8:00pm

                                Sunday,   Oct. 16, from 10:00am - 6:00pm

 

WHERE:              Cal Expo Pavilion TBA

 

WHO:                   

Everyone is invited and tens of thousands will attend. Over 1,600 Ride & Drives at the 2018 Show!

 

COST:                  

General admission at door for adults $TBA per day, $TBA for ages 7-12, and kids 6 and under admitted free.

 

WHY:                    

To showcase the latest electric vehicles on the market, speak with SMUD and SacEV representatives about the benefits of plug-in electric vehicle ownership, special electric rate options, and hear about the ownership experience from existing electric vehicle drivers, and get a chance to drive these exciting green vehicles.

 

DETAILS:          

Many of the latest plug-in electric cars were on display for everyone to see, ask questions about, and DRIVE! There were no sales at this event, so it was a relaxed, low pressure, and fun  environment. Attendees were able to come to learn and understand what all the interest in PEVs is truly about.
